There are jobs-and then there are careers. The chance to do the kind of work that adds up to something meaningful. The opportunity to challenge yourself and learn new skills. The prospect of being surrounded by smart, ambitious motivated people, day-in and day-out. That's the kind of work you can expect to do at AALOS.
In 2012, standards for entry into the prosthetic and orthotic profession changed to require a graduate degree and associated residencies. This change is indicative of the high degree of expertise and professionalism required to not only successfully care for and treat those in need of prosthetic and orthotic care but to work with other health care professionals to maximize patient outcome.
In the prosthetic/orthotic and post-mastectomy fitter profession, there are a wide variety of career opportunities. In addition to the prosthetist and orthotist, there are many opportunities to work in this field. They include technicians, prosthetic/orthotic assistants, and administrative assistants who specialize in coding and billing.

Orthotic and Prosthetic Residency Program
Each year we offer Residency positions to qualified candidates. All of our facilities are NCOPE (National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education) accredited residency sites. We provide a comprehensive curriculum and the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art facilities where the focus is patient care and follow through. You will be educated by and work alongside highly experienced clinicians many of which are nationally known. Because we’re affiliated with other O&P clinics, as well as prosthetic manufacturers, you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of services and cutting-edge products.
